MECHANICAL
Inboard Yanmar 1GM diesel (10HP) which drives a 2 bladed bronze propellor. 26 L fuel tank. Sips fuel, runs economically.
RIGGING
Stainless steel standing rigging. External spreader plates fitted for additional strength in 2022. Adjustable backstay pulley for adding additional tension if needed when beating to windward. Fractional rigged forestay with roller reefing system fitted for ease of jib recovery when short-handed. Aluminium mast and boom.
SAILS
Mainsail, Jib and original mainsail as spare (FB 438). Mainsail in-boom reefing. Lazy jack and stack-pack system for ease of mainsail recovery when short-handed.
ELECTRONICS & NAVIGATION
VHF Radio with masthead antenna. Through-hull depth sounder. Automatic bilge pump system (Whale Orca 2000 with Seawitch sensor). Cranking and Leisure battery (110ah) with split charge relay fitted alongside 100W solar panel (hatch mounted) with charge controller. Fuse board with switches in cabin for echosounder, anchor light, deck lights, cabin lights, VHF radio and Webasto diesel heater.
ACCOMODATION
Primarily mahogany interior. 4 berth cabin with gas stove (gimbled), inboard water tank, storage locker and foldable table. Webasto diesel heater for those chilly nights.
DECK
Cockpit with four deep lockers containing fenders, spare lines, manual bilge pump, batteries with split relay charger, and Webasto diesel heater. Large aft compartment houses fuel tank and Bruce anchor (Kedge). Solar panel on hatch cover. Doghouse roof sealed in cloth and resin. Painted deck areas with mahogany treated with woodskin. Plough anchor (main) with 19.5m chain. 3 winches.
CONSTRUCTION
Built in East Germany (Rostock) by PGH Eikboom (337208 is her builders hull number) in 1967. Carvel mahogany on oak frames construction with iron long keel. Hull in good condition.
